Personal information we collect

Types of personal information we collect about you
“Personal information” means information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person or device to which such information relates. Identity data includes name, username, ID card, taxpayer identification number, user ID or other identifier, surname, date of birth, gender, place of birth, occupation, nationality, photo/Image and/or biometric data.
Contact data includes billing address(es), delivery address(es), email address(es), telephone numbers, and telephone directories.
Eligibility Data includes, in relation to a Service Provider, licences, approvals and other authorizations that allow you to operate a vehicle and provide transport or other services, and insurance policy details.
Transaction Data includes purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, comments and survey responses, in relation to users, the type of service requested, and pickup and/or delivery details; In relation to the service provider, the type of services that can be accepted at that time.
Financial data includes bank account and payment card details such as the type of payment card or account used, the name of the issuer of the payment card or account, the name of the holder of the payment card or account, and the identification number of that account. or payment card, payment card or account verification code, payment card or account expiration date, as applicable, financial history (including, without limitation, payment card or account transaction history, payment card or account details and layout and /or payment card or account status and status) and credit score.

Information collected when you use the Apps
You may provide us with technical and location data when you use and/or visit the Apps. Whenever you access the Apps through your mobile device, we will track and collect real-time geolocation information. In some cases, you will be asked or prompted to activate the GPS on your mobile device to enable us to give you a better experience using the Apps (for example, to provide you with information about how close a service's service provider is to you. We do not mandate or endorse, nor prohibit, the installation or use of in-vehicle recording devices in any vehicle. When these devices are installed and used in any vehicle, we do not collect any Personal Information from any in-vehicle recordings made by such devices, and no Personal Information is collected from such in-vehicle recordings on our behalf.                                                                                            Personal information from these in-vehicle recordings is collected solely at the discretion of the service provider.                                                                                             We have no control over the collection of Personal Information by the Service Provider and any subsequent use or disclosure by the Service Provider of Personal Information so collected. Where you are a Service Provider and choose to install and use in-vehicle recording devices in your vehicle, it is your sole responsibility to notify the User.                 Where you are a user and have any objection to the use of any Service Provider's in-vehicle recording devices, you must inform the Service Provider directly and do so at your own risk.

How we use your personal information


We may use personal information collected for any of the following purposes as well as other purposes permitted by applicable law (“Purposes”):
When you are a User, we may use your personal information:
To identify and register you as a user and manage, verify, deactivate or administer your account as such;
To facilitate or enable any verification process as we may deem necessary before the Service Provider provides you with the Services or before we register you as a User, including KYC and credit scoring (where applicable);
To enable the service provider to provide you with the services you have requested;
To process and facilitate orders and payment transactions you make, including, where applicable, transactions made through any payment card or account available through the Apps;
To notify you of any transaction or activity that has occurred within the Apps or any other system associated with our Apps;
To facilitate account and/or wallet linking, if you initiate the account and/or wallet linking feature between your IrieLift Account or IrieLift Wallet and the Third Party Platform (as applicable);
To communicate with you and send you information in connection with your use of the Apps;
To notify you of any updates to applications or changes to available services;
To process and respond to inquiries and feedback from you;
To maintain, develop, test, enhance and customize the Application to meet your needs and preferences as a user;
To monitor and analyze user activities, behavior and demographic data including trends and usage of the various services available on the application;
To process and manage reward points (as applicable);
To offer or provide services from our affiliates or partners (as applicable); And
To send direct or targeted marketing communications, advertisements, coupons, surveys and information about special offers or promotions.
When you are a service provider, we may use your personal information:
To identify and register you as a Service Provider and manage, manage or verify your account as such;
To facilitate or enable any verification process as we consider necessary before we register you as a Service Provider, including for KYC and credit scoring (as applicable);
To enable you to provide services to users;
To process, facilitate and complete payments due to you in relation to any services you have provided;
To communicate with you and send you information in connection with providing your Services, including conveying user requests to you and facilitating your acceptance of such requests;
To provide you with notices and updates to the Applications or changes to the way the Services will be provided;
to provide you with a report in relation to the services you have provided;
To process and respond to user comments about the services you have provided;
To maintain, develop, test, enhance and customize the Applications to meet your needs and preferences as a service provider;
To monitor and analyze user activities, behavior, demographic data including trends and service provider response to various services available on the applications;
To process and manage your Reward Points (as applicable);
To offer or provide services from our affiliates or partners (as applicable); And
To send direct or targeted marketing communications, advertisements, promotions, surveys, and information about special offers or promotions.
Whether you are a user, a service provider or you provide personal information to us, we may also use your personal information more generally for the following purposes (although in each such case we will always act reasonably and will not use more personal information than is available) required for a particular purpose: ):
To carry out associated business operations and functions;
To monitor the use of the Applications and manage, support, and improve the performance, growth, user experience, and functionality of the Applications;
To provide assistance regarding and resolve any technical difficulties or operational problems with the Applications or Services;

When you are a User, for the purpose of enabling the Service Provider to perform or provide a service, including contacting you;

In a situation related to your health or public interest (whether you are a user or a service provider), we may share your personal information with government authorities and/or other organizations that may be appointed by government authorities or that cooperate with us for the purposes of contact tracing, supporting initiatives or policies or Government programs, public safety and any other purposes reasonably required;
In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation, restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or to another company, for the purposes of such a transaction (even if the transaction does not ultimately consummate);
In relation to an insurance claim, we will share your personal information for the purpose of processing the insurance claim with the insurance company we deal with or cooperate with;

International transfers

How we collect your personal information
In-car registration


Where you are a Service Provider and choose to install and use In-Vehicle Recording Devices (IVRDs) in your vehicle, it is your sole responsibility to comply with all applicable laws (including, without limitation, any directives and guidelines issued by the Land Transport Authority and the Personal Data Protection Commission) Regarding that. For example, but not limited to, you must:
Ensure you obtain approval to install any inward-facing IVRD in your vehicle;

If you have any objection to the use of an in-vehicle facing IVRD to any service provider, it is your responsibility to cancel your order immediately. If you become aware of the use of inward facing IVRD in any vehicle, and have not been notified via the User Applications, please notify us via the User Application so we can investigate accordingly.
National ID numbers
While you are a User, we do not collect, use or disclose your National Registration ID or other national identification numbers for the purposes of your use of the App. When you are a transportation service provider, please note that we may collect, use and disclose your NRIC or Foreign Identification Number to comply with our obligations under applicable law and to prevent, detect and investigate fraudulent activity.
